Creating the Lyrics
Universe Skin Pack
It's easy to
designing your own LU Skin Pack,... and it's small.
Take a good look of this LU Skin Pack Sample Skin
Picture, - the bitmap file also included in the Lyrics Universe .zip-package
file - and then follow the instructions below.
1. Please take into account that the resize button overlaps both the right border and the
lower right corner.
2. All buttons are centered to the right border.
3. The long piece in the header is responsible for showing the song title, so there must
be enough space for that.
4. We use an 8pt Arial font with a transparent background.
5. The pieces beside it are meant to 'round off' the title display.
6. If you want you can make your Lyrics Universe's skin from Winamp skin version 2.x's
playlist bitmap file (pledit.bmp). It's easier creating your skins that way. Check out the
size of the header or other parts of the images there, it fits. You just have to copy and
paste them in your graphics program and make a little change for the songtitle area. Now
you can make all your Lyrics Universe©'s skins match with all your
Winamp's skin.
So try it out and make a nice skin for it if you want, and make it better than us.
